Job summary

Johnson Brothers seeks a Regional Operations Director to lead branch operations across Minnesota, Iowa, Spencer IA, North Dakota, South Dakota, Wisconsin, Indiana, and Nebraska. This role owns the P&L, drives productivity, safety, and service across multiple distribution centers, warehouses, and fleets, and partners with Sales, Finance and HR to deliver annual plans and strategic initiatives.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of progressive regional operations leadership experience with direct responsibility for multiple distribution sites.
• Proven full P&L ownership and experience delivering annual operating plans, budgets, cost reductions, productivity gains, and capital priorities.
• Experience operating with company-owned assets, including distribution centers, trucks, trailers, warehouse equipment, and facility infrastructure.
• Strong financial and analytical capability with ability to translate metrics into corrective actions and financial results.
• Experience in alcoholic beverage, consumer packaged goods, foodservice, wholesale distribution, or multi-site distribution environments preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Branch Directors of Operations across the region with clear direction and accountability.
• Own the branch operating P&L and deliver annual operating plans.
• Develop and execute cost-reduction, productivity, route-efficiency, and capacity planning initiatives while protecting service and safety.
• Develop labor strategies and staffing models to ensure appropriate staffing while maintaining productivity and cost objectives.
• Partner with corporate Operations, Sales, Finance, and HR to optimize service, capacity, cost, and talent.
• Use data and analytics to identify performance gaps, establish corrective actions, and hold leadership accountable.
• Champion analytics, routing technology, and warehouse management systems to improve performance.
• Monitor performance measures such as OTIF, revenue per mile/stop, fill rates, and cost per case.
