Job summary

Dexterra Group is hiring a Regional Operations Director to lead the operations team for a defined region, ensuring efficiency and alignment with the company’s strategic vision.

The role carries full P&L responsibility, contract oversight, and a focus on profitable growth with a strong emphasis on client relationships and safety leadership. Travel ~50% is required, and the position is based in the United States with opportunities across multiple sites.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 6 years of management experience leading a team in facility management services.
• Post-secondary degree in management or business-related field.
• Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
• Proven ability to lead with empathy, openness and respect.
• Ability to maintain strong relations with employees, clients and customers.
• Familiarity with health, safety and environmental management systems.
• Strong problem solving and organizational skills.
• Proficient with Word, Excel and Outlook.
• Ability to travel between sites, about 50% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Oversee operations team for a specific region to ensure efficiency and execution of strategy.
• Manage full P&L responsibility for sites in the region and develop plans to meet financial targets.
• Set clear goals and budgets with location managers; identify profitability opportunities.
• Negotiate favorable contracts and ensure client satisfaction across contracts.
• Foster long-term client relationships and maintain a professional service leadership presence.
• Drive growth by identifying opportunities within existing clients and new business.
• Promote safety culture and oversee quality checks across operations.
• Contribute to annual budgets and review P&L to meet objectives.
