Johnstone Supply, North America's leading wholesale distributor of HVACR equipment, parts, and supplies, seeks an experienced operations leader to oversee multiple locations, drive efficiency, and optimize inventory and logistics. The role requires strong leadership, P&L awareness, and a track record in wholesale distribution.

You will partner with regional leadership to implement strategic plans, manage budgets, and ensure safety and compliance across sites while building high-performing teams

Qualifications

• Highschool degree or equivalent required. Bachelor’s degree in logistics, business, or related field preferred.
• Ten years of progressive operations leadership experience, preferably in multi-site distribution or logistics environment.
• Minimum of five years’ supervisory experience.
• Valid driver’s license and travel willingness across assigned territory.
• Expert knowledge of wholesale distribution operations, including order fulfillment, inventory control, logistics, customer service, showroom merchandising, shipping and receiving, sales, and operational compliance management.
• Proven experience with fleet, inventory, and distribution operations.
• Understanding of P&L management including achieving revenue and margin goals.
• Strong leadership with the ability to train and coach teams.

Responsibilities

• Provides operational leadership for multiple locations, including distribution, fleet, inventory, vendor management, and customer-specific requirements.
• Partners with Regional Manager to ensure high-quality customer service and timely issue resolution.
• Oversees order fulfillment, shipping, receiving, inventory accuracy, working capital optimization, and quality systems.
• Develops regional operational strategies, budgets, and performance goals.
• Hires, trains, coaches, and evaluates warehouse supervisors and managers; drives accountability.
• Ensures compliant, safe operations and adherence to policies and procedures.
• Manages regional P&L, expenses, and budget alignment with leadership.
