Job summary

Long John Silver’s is seeking an Area Supervisor (District Manager) to lead operations for 6–9 company-owned restaurants in the region. This full-time exempt role reports to the Director of Operations and carries accountability for achieving area operating plans.

The Area Supervisor will coach RGMs and teams, uphold food safety and brand standards, drive sales and guest satisfaction, and manage staffing, scheduling, and compliance across restaurants, with up to 70% travel.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• 5–7 years’ experience as Area Supervisor in quick-service or fast-casual restaurants.
• Serv-Safe certification required; must be able to obtain if not certified.

Responsibilities

• Coach and direct RGMs, assistant managers, and shift managers daily.
• Maintain food safety, product, and facility standards.
• Set and review performance targets to improve guest satisfaction and sales.
• Develop and retain RGMs and staff; ensure labor compliance.
• Communicate changes to teams and ensure brand standards are followed.
• Manage restaurant teams through feedback and performance reviews.
• Coordinate scheduling, HRIS updates, and budgeting priorities.
• Travel up to 70% to support restaurants.
