Job summary

Hitachi Energy is seeking an experienced Regional Operations Leader to oversee and optimize operational performance across a designated region. You will manage project deliverables and develop high-performing teams to ensure successful execution from scope through completion.

The role requires guiding multiple project teams, implementing robust PM strategies, monitoring KPIs, and driving continuous improvement to reduce costs while aligning with customer expectations and organizational goals.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in deliverables management for complex projects.
• Extensive experience in leading project teams and coaching.
• Strong expertise in PM methodologies and lifecycle management.
• Experience in project scope development and requirements gathering.
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, or PM; Master’s preferred; PMP desirable.

Job Responsibilities

• Lead and manage multiple project teams across the region, providing guidance, support, and mentorship to achieve operational excellence.
• Develop and implement robust project management strategies and processes to ensure timely and within‑budget delivery of all regional projects.
• Define and refine project scopes, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and customer expectations.
• Monitor, track, and report on key operational performance indicators, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and optimize resource allocation within the region.
• Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and high performance within all regional teams.
• Manage stakeholder communication and expectations, ensuring transparency and successful project outcomes.
• Oversee resource planning and allocation to effectively support current and future project demands.

Job Qualifications

• Proven experience in Deliverables Management, demonstrating a strong track record of successfully delivering complex projects.
• Extensive experience in Leading Project Teams, with a focus on coaching, developing, and motivating team members.
• Strong expertise in Project Management methodologies and tools, including a deep understanding of project lifecycles.
• Demonstrated ability in Project Scope Development, including requirements gathering, definition, and management.
• Exceptional Team Management skills, including performance management, conflict resolution, and fostering a positive work environment.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership abilities.
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant engineering, business, or project management field; Master’s degree preferred.
• PMP or other relevant project management certifications are highly desirable.
