Job summary

The Yay Company is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to own the Northeast region, spanning MD, DE, PA, NJ, NY, and CT. You will supervise kitchen teams, drive margins, and coordinate distribution logistics in hub kitchens while regularly traveling to markets.

Philadelphia serves as your home base and you will lead both on-site and remote teams. You will manage labor budgets, schedules, and inventory, ensuring sustainable growth as the company scales.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years of experience in multi-unit operations management within food service or comparable fast-paced environments.
• Proven ability to manage remote teams and drive performance across multiple markets.
• Strong understanding of direct margin, labor, food cost, and inventory control.

Responsibilities

• Own direct margin and financial performance for the Northeast region.
• Manage labor budget and scheduling across Kitchen Managers and Lunch Coordinators.
• Oversee inventory, waste, and weekly/monthly counts across markets.
• Lead new kitchen launches, health department coordination, and equipment procurement.
• Direct field presence in Philadelphia while coordinating remotely with other markets.
