Circle K in Tempe, AZ seeks a seasoned operations leader to drive market competitiveness, budgeting, and profitability across its convenience-store network. You will analyze financials, monitor expenses, and steer promotional programs to maximize store performance.

The role requires 10+ years in c-store/gasoline, 5+ years in management, strong MS Office skills, and up to 50% travel. Leadership, safety, staff development, and collaboration with Real Estate are essential.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree preferred; other combinations of experience and education may meet requirements.
Ten years of experience in the convenience store/gasoline industry preferred; minimum 5 years in management.
Experience with MS Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint and Word preferred.
May require up to 50% travel annually.
Comfortable public speaker and presenter.
Valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

Monitor and evaluate competitor pricing activities and market surveys; prepare forecasts and adjustments.
Review financial status via cash/over reports, inventory, expenses, and sales performance; determine marketing strategy changes.
Improve sales and profits by coordinating with gasoline and marketing departments on promotional programs.
Maintain stores by inspections; ensure cleanliness, repairs, inventory levels, merchandising and reports.
Recruit, select, train, and develop staff; communicate expectations and provide coaching and feedback.
Plan capital spending with Real Estate and engage with government agencies as needed.
