Job summary

MSC Industrial Supply Co. is seeking a Multi-Site Onsite Team Lead to oversee onsite staff and manage the client's MRO spend across multiple locations. The role emphasizes leadership, supplier management, and inventory optimization within a distribution and procurement context.

You will supervise Onsite Specialists, drive cost savings, and ensure strong relationships with executive clients while reporting progress to regional management. Travel of up to 25–50% is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business or supply chain with 7+ years' experience OR 12+ years in related roles.
• Experience managing staff and clients in a high tempo manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of multiple supply chain platforms (SAP, JDE, Maximo, EAM, CribMaster, Tofino) and inventory management.
• CPSM certification helpful but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct supervision, mentoring, and supply chain guidance to Onsite associates.
• Manages plant executive relationships with client executives.
• Oversees multiple locations' capacity and service levels.
• Leads cost savings initiatives and inventory optimization opportunities.
• Documents weekly progress with client site champions and account managers.
• Drives supplier relationship management for second-tier partners.
• Identifies opportunities for expanded spend and ensures compliance with sourcing strategies.
