Job summary

MSC Industrial Supply Co. is seeking a Multi-Site Onsite Team Lead in Joliet, IL to oversee Onsite Specialists across locations.

You will manage plant executive relationships, supplier performance, and cost-saving initiatives while guiding a team to meet service levels and inventory goals. You will partner with clients to retain and grow integrated supply arrangements, lead continuous improvement, and report progress to regional managers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business or supply chain; seven or more years of relevant experience, or twelve years of relevant experience in integrated supply, distribution, and/or indirect materials management.
• Ability to manage staff and clients in a high tempo manufacturing environment.
• Experience with multiple supply chain platforms and knowledge of MRO categories is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct supervision, mentoring, and supply chain guidance to Onsite associates located at the assigned sites.
• Manages plant executive relationships and supplier performance.
• Manage team capacity across multiple customer locations.
• Monitor cost savings, service levels, and inventory fill rates to retain and grow the integrated supply business.
• Participate in sourcing not available through MSC and manage supplier relationships with second-tier partners.
• Generate weekly and monthly performance communications and reports for the client site champion and regional managers.
