Job summary

Texas Oncology is seeking a Regional Oncology Travel Float Registered Nurse (RN) to join our West Regional Float Pool Team. In this dynamic role, you'll deliver essential cross-coverage in Medical Oncology, Radiation Oncology, and Infusion nursing units, rotating through and supporting multiple Texas Oncology clinics throughout the West Region, including Odessa.

This full-time daytime position offers regional travel between sites with no weekends, no on-call, and no major holidays, and provides

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited nursing program; BSN preferred.
• RN license and current registration with the state.
• Current BLS certification and ongoing CE requirements.
• Oncology experience or OC N certification strongly preferred.
• Strong IV and central line skills; ability to support multiple oncology subspecialties.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, coordinate, and evaluate patient care.
• Provide education to patients and families; offer psychosocial support.
• Safely administer medications and monitor patients.
• Perform venipuncture and manage central lines.
• Coordinate triage calls and document treatment plans.
• Cross-train into subspecialties as Float Pool evolves.
