Job summary

Texas Oncology seeks a Regional Oncology Travel Float Registered Nurse (RN) for the West Regional Float Pool. You will provide cross-coverage across Medical Oncology, Radiation Oncology, and Infusion units, rotating through West Region clinics.

Role is full-time with daytime hours, across multiple Texas clinics in the West Region (e.g., Midland). Oncologic expertise, strong IV skills, and flexibility to travel regionally are essential. Enjoy a supportive team environment with LTIP opportunities.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited nursing program; BSN preferred.
• RN license required in practicing state.
• Current BLS certification.
• OCN® or oncology experience preferred.
• Strong IV and central line skills.
• Experience in multiple oncology care settings is a plus.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, coordinate, and evaluate patient care across oncology settings.
• Provide education to patients and families; support psychosocial needs.
• Safely administer medications and therapies per protocol.
• Perform venipuncture and manage central lines.
• Triage calls and document medications and symptoms.
• Cross-train into subspecialties as the Float Pool evolves.
