Job summary

American Oncology Network, Inc. seeks a Senior Nursing Executive to lead the integration of oncology nursing practice, education, and research across the region.

You will set the vision with physician leadership, supervise nursing teams, establish standard metrics for quality and safety, and ensure regulatory compliance and staff competency. This remote, nationwide role requires travel to satellite offices.

Qualifications

• RN licensure in the state of employment (or multi-state)
• OCN certification preferred
• 10 years of progressive managerial experience in nursing/clinical operations
• At least 5 years in community oncology nursing
• Proficiency with medical information systems and Microsoft Office suite

Responsibilities

• Provide collaborative leadership for integration of nursing practice, education, and research
• Oversee regional nursing teams and ensure adherence to policies and safe clinical practices
• Collaborate with nursing council, physicians, and executives to set vision and strategic priorities
• Develop and implement education programs, competency assessments, and SOPs
• Manage chart audits, care management resources, and cost optimization measures
