Job summary

Texas Oncology is seeking a Regional Nurse Manager (RN) to support the West Texas Region. This full-time role operates Monday–Friday 8am–5pm with travel across sites (about 40%), plus some remote days. Abilene on-site as needed, other markets include El Paso, Midland, Odessa, Amarillo, Wichita Falls.

The RN will lead nursing services under the Director of Nursing, ensuring compliance, education, and inter-disciplinary collaboration across practices in the region.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing; BSN or MSN preferred.
• RN license with current state board registration.
• Minimum 5 years active RN practice.
• Oncology experience preferred (3+ years).
• Leadership experience preferred (3+ years).
• OCN certification preferred; required within 24 months.

Responsibilities

• Ensure clinical operations align with organizational objectives.
• Collaborate with practice management on operational projects and committees.
• Utilize outcomes data and evidence-based practices.
• Implement standardized best practices across the organization.
• Maintain care standards in line with community benchmarks.
• Support staff development and competency validation.
• Assess staffing, patient flow and clinical practices.
• Assist with company-wide nursing competency testing.
