Job summary

Texas Oncology is seeking a Regional Nurse Manager (RN) to support the West Texas Region. This full-time role combines on-site and remote work with travel to multiple sites across El Paso, Midland, Odessa, and surrounding areas.

The position reports to the Director of Nursing Services and emphasizes education, protocol implementation, and inter-disciplinary collaboration. The ideal candidate has an RN license, 5+ years of RN practice, oncology experience preferred, and CPR certification.

Qualifications

• RN license active and in good standing in practicing state.
• BSN or MSN preferred, oncology-focused training advantageous.
• Minimum 5 years actively practicing as an RN.
• OCN certification preferred; must be obtained within 24 months.
• Current CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Ensure clinical operations align with organizational objectives.
• Collaborate with practice management on operational projects and committees.
• Facilitate adoption of evidence-based practices and standardized standards.
• Assess staffing, patient flow, and clinical practices; support staffing decisions.
• Develop professional competencies and training programs across sites.
• Oversee labor laws compliance and staff scheduling (vacations, sick leave, overtime).
• Other duties as assigned.
