Job summary

H&R Block is seeking a Multi-Office Leader (Area Experience Leader) to oversee 4–6 retail offices, delivering a consistent, high‑quality client experience. You’ll set expectations for consultative service, operational execution, team performance, and business results across locations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• 3+ years leading teams in multi-unit environments
• Strong client-centric mindset and consultative experience
• Proven leadership ability with coaching and accountability
• Ability to drive business and financial results across locations
• Experience leading through change and adoption of new processes
• Independent judgment and ability to prioritize across locations
• Willingness to travel frequently between offices
• Schedule flexibility to align with operating hours, including evenings/weekends

Responsibilities

• Own consistent delivery of the consultative client experience across 4-6 offices
• Evaluate execution quality and client impact across locations
• Drive adoption of new client experience processes and tools
• Lead Tax Professionals and Client Service Professionals, set expectations and coach for performance
• Provide coaching based on observed behaviors and performance data
• Identify patterns across offices and develop bench strength
• Own revenue, growth, and operational performance across offices
• Monitor performance metrics and take actions to improve results
• Ensure daily operations across offices, including staffing, scheduling, and compliance
• Oversee office readiness, facilities, and staffing for seasonal demand
