Job summary

H&R Block is seeking a Multi-Office Leader to oversee a portfolio of 4–6 offices, ensuring a consistent, high-quality client experience across locations. You will coach Tax Professionals and Client Service Professionals, set expectations, and drive performance and revenue across the offices.

You’ll balance strategic oversight with hands-on leadership, ensuring staffing, facilities, and day-to-day operations align with business goals while maintaining a client-centric culture across all offices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.
• 3+ years leading teams in a multi-unit environment with accountability for performance outcomes.
• Strong client-centric mindset with experience delivering consultative client experience.
• Proven leadership capable of coaching, developing, and holding teams accountable.
• Demonstrated ability to drive business and financial results while managing day-to-day operations across multiple locations, including labor management.
• Experience leading through change, adopting new processes and ways of working.
• Ability to exercise independent judgment and prioritize competing demands across locations.
• Experience managing facilities, staffing, or compliance.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills, including handling client escalations.
• Ability to interpret data, identify trends, and translate insights into action.
• Able to climb ladders and lift up to 20 pounds in support of office readiness.
• Willingness to travel frequently between offices to maintain presence.
• Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and Saturdays as needed.

Responsibilities

• Own consistent delivery of the consultative client experience across 4–6 offices.
• Evaluate execution quality and client impact across locations to reinforce strengths and close gaps.
• Drive adoption of new client experience processes, tools, and behaviors with visible leadership.
• Lead Tax Professionals and Client Service Professionals by setting expectations and coaching for performance.
• Provide coaching informed by observed behaviors and real-time feedback to strengthen team execution.
• Identify patterns across offices and develop bench strength and high-potential talent.
• Own revenue, growth, and operational performance across offices.
• Monitor performance metrics and take actions to improve business results and client acquisition/retention.
• Ensure daily operations across offices including staffing, scheduling, compliance, and SOPs.
• Oversee office readiness including facilities, equipment, and onboarding for seasonal demand.
