Job summary

H&R Block seeks an Area Experience Leader to run 4–6 offices, delivering a consistent, high‑quality client experience across locations. You’ll coach Tax Professionals and Client Service Pros, ensuring excellence in consultative service and operational execution.

You will guide teams, manage staffing and facilities, and drive business results with a hands‑on leadership style and strong judgment. Travel between offices is required to maintain in‑person presence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years leading teams in multi‑unit retail/service/ops.
• Strong client‑centric mindset delivering consultative experience.
• Proven ability to coach, develop, and hold teams accountable.
• Experience driving business and financial results while managing daily ops across locations.
• Ability to adapt to change and prioritize across locations.
• Experience with facilities, staffing, or compliance operations.
• Excellent communication and problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to travel frequently between offices for in‑person presence.

Responsibilities

• Own consistent consultative client experience across 4–6 offices.
• Evaluate execution quality and client impact across locations.
• Drive adoption of new client experience processes and tools.
• Lead Tax Professionals and Client Service Professionals with clear expectations.
• Provide coaching based on behaviors, performance, and feedback.
• Identify patterns across offices and develop bench strength.
• Own revenue, growth, and operational performance across offices.
• Monitor metrics and take action to improve results and retention.
• Ensure daily operations, scheduling, staffing, and compliance are executed.
• Oversee office readiness, facilities, supplies, and onboarding.
