Job summary

H&R Block, Inc. seeks a Multi-Office Leader (Area Experience Leader) to oversee 4–6 retail offices, ensuring a consistent, high-quality client experience across locations.

You will coach Tax Professionals and Client Service Professionals, balancing strategic oversight with in-office presence to align priorities and strengthen execution. You’ll own office readiness, staffing, compliance, and day-to-day operations, driving revenue, growth, and performance while building high-performing teams

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.
• 3+ years leading teams in multi-unit retail, service, or ops with performance accountability.
• Strong client-centric mindset with experience delivering consultative client experience.
• Proven leadership with ability to coach, develop, and hold teams accountable.
• Experience driving business and financial results while managing day-to-day ops across locations.
• Experience leading through change and adoption of new processes.
• Ability to prioritize across multiple locations and travel frequently.

Responsibilities

• Own delivery of consultative client experience across 4–6 offices with consistent standards.
• Evaluate execution quality and client impact; reinforce strengths and address gaps.
• Drive adoption of new client experience processes, tools, and behaviors.
• Lead Tax Professionals and Client Service Professionals with clear expectations and accountability.
• Provide coaching informed by observed behaviors and performance outcomes.
• Identify patterns across offices, address performance gaps, and develop bench strength.
• Own revenue, growth, and business outcomes across assigned offices.
• Monitor metrics, identify trends, and take actions to improve results and retention.
• Oversee daily operations including staffing, labor, compliance, SOPs, and service delivery.
• Manage office readiness, facilities, equipment, supplies, recruiting, onboarding, and seasonal prep.
