Job summary

H&R Block is seeking a Multi-Office Leader (Area Experience Leader) to oversee 4–6 retail offices, ensuring a consistent, high‑quality client experience across locations. You will coach Tax Professionals and Client Service Professionals, drive operational excellence, and balance strategic oversight with hands‑on leadership.

You’ll own office readiness, staffing, compliance, and performance, coaching teams to deliver results and maintain strong client relationships.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years work experience leading teams in a multi‑unit retail, service, or operations environment with accountability for performance outcomes.
• Ability to travel frequently between assigned offices to maintain in‑person presence across locations.
• Strong leadership capability with proven ability to coach, develop, and hold teams accountable.

Responsibilities

• Own consistent delivery of the consultative client experience across 4-6 offices, ensuring standards are executed with discipline.
• Evaluate execution quality and client impact across locations to reinforce strengths and address gaps.
• Drive adoption of new client experience processes, tools, and behaviors with visible client-centric leadership.
• Lead Tax Professionals and Client Service Professionals by setting clear expectations and coaching for consistent performance.
• Provide coaching informed by observed behaviours, client interactions, and performance outcomes to strengthen team execution.
• Identify patterns across offices and develop bench strength and high-potential talent.
• Own revenue, growth, and operational performance across assigned offices.
• Monitor metrics, identify trends, and implement actions to improve business results.
• Ensure daily operations, staffing, scheduling, compliance, and service delivery are consistent.
• Oversee office readiness, facilities, equipment, supplies, recruiting, and onboarding for seasonal demand.
