Job summary

H&R Block, Inc. is seeking a Multi-Office Leader (Area Experience Leader) to oversee 4–6 retail offices, delivering a consistent, high-quality client experience and setting clear expectations for service, operations, and results.

You will coach Tax Professionals and Client Service Professionals, balance strategic oversight with in-office presence, and drive revenue, growth, and performance across offices while ensuring readiness and compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years leading teams in multi-unit environments.
• Client-centric mindset with consultative experience.
• Proven leadership and accountability.
• Ability to manage day-to-day ops across locations.
• Experience with change management and new processes.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to travel frequently between offices.

Responsibilities

• Own delivery of consultative client experience across 4–6 offices.
• Evaluate execution quality and client impact across locations.
• Drive adoption of new client experience processes and tools.
• Lead Tax Professionals and Client Service Professionals with coaching.
• Provide coaching based on observed behaviors and performance.
• Identify patterns, address performance gaps, develop bench strength.
• Own revenue, growth, and business outcomes across offices.
• Monitor performance metrics and drive improvements.
• Ensure daily operations across offices, including staffing and compliance.
• Oversee office readiness and seasonal demand preparation.
