Job summary

H&R Block, Inc. is seeking an Area Experience Leader to oversee 4–6 offices, ensuring a consistent, high-quality client experience across locations. You will set expectations for service, execution, and performance while coaching Tax Professionals and Client Service Professionals.

In this hands-on role, you will balance strategic oversight with in-office leadership, drive readiness, staffing, and operational excellence, and own revenue and business outcomes across the portfolio.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.
• Proven experience leading multi-location teams with accountability for outcomes.
• Strong client-centric service delivery mindset.
• Ability to coach, develop, and hold teams accountable.
• Experience driving business results across multiple offices.
• Ability to manage change and adopt new processes.

Responsibilities

• Own consistent client experience across 4–6 offices with disciplined execution.
• Evaluate execution quality and client impact across locations.
• Drive adoption of new client experience processes and tools.
• Lead Tax Professionals and Client Service Professionals with clear expectations.
• Provide coaching based on observed behavior and performance data.
• Identify patterns, address gaps, and develop bench strength.
• Own revenue, growth, and operational performance across offices.
• Monitor metrics and implement actions to improve results.
• Ensure staffing, scheduling, compliance, and daily ops across offices.
• Oversee facilities, equipment, and readiness for seasonal demand.
