Job summary

H&R Block seeks a Multi-Office Leader (Area Experience Leader) to oversee 4-6 retail offices, ensuring a consistent, high-quality client experience across locations. You will coach Tax Professionals and Client Service Professionals, set expectations, and drive continuous improvement in service delivery and business results.

In this role, you’ll balance strategic ownership with hands-on leadership, ensuring office readiness, staffing, compliance, and day-to-day operations align with client needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years leading teams in multi-unit environments with accountability for performance outcomes.
• Strong client-centric mindset with experience delivering consultative client experiences.
• Proven ability to coach, develop, and hold teams accountable across locations.

Responsibilities

• Own consistent delivery of the consultative client experience across 4-6 offices.
• Evaluate execution quality and client impact across locations.
• Drive adoption of new client experience processes, tools, and behaviors.
• Lead teams by setting expectations, reinforcing accountability, and coaching for performance.
• Provide coaching based on observed behaviors and outcomes to strengthen execution.
• Identify patterns, address performance gaps, and develop bench strength.
• Own revenue, growth, and operational performance across offices.
• Monitor metrics and act to improve client acquisition and retention.
• Ensure daily operations, staffing, scheduling, and compliance across offices.
• Oversee facilities, recruiting, onboarding, and seasonal readiness.
