Job summary

H&R Block is seeking an Area Experience Leader to oversee 4-6 retail offices in Albany, GA. You will mentor Tax Professionals and Client Service Professionals, ensuring a consistent, high-quality client experience across locations while managing staffing, facilities, compliance, and daily operations.

You will balance strategic oversight with hands-on leadership, coaching teams to anticipate client needs and deliver expert guidance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years work experience leading teams in a multi-unit retail, service, or operations environment.

Responsibilities

• Own delivery of the consultative client experience across 4-6 offices.
• Evaluate execution quality and client impact across locations.
• Drive adoption of new client experience processes, tools, and behaviors.
• Lead Tax Professionals and Client Service Professionals with clear expectations and coaching.
• Provide coaching based on observed behaviors, performance outcomes, and feedback.
• Identify patterns across offices and develop bench strength.
• Own revenue, growth, and operational performance across offices.
• Monitor performance metrics and drive improvements in client acquisition and retention.
• Ensure daily operations, staffing, scheduling, and compliance across offices.
• Prepare offices for seasonal demand and office readiness.
