Qualifications

• Current RN license required.
• Minimum of five years of clinical experience in healthcare.
• Minimum of one year of supervisory/leadership experience in a healthcare setting is required.
• Bachelor's degree is required; BSN is preferred.
• Knowledge of quality improvement principles and patient safety practices is preferred.
• Experience with accreditation, risk management or performance improvement is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Risk Management and Patient Safety for the assigned region.
• Collaborate with leaders to enhance quality and patient safety.
• Oversee evaluation, investigation, reporting and remediation of safety events.
• Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and interactions with regulatory agencies.
• Act as Patient Safety Officer for assigned locations and oversee regulatory reporting.
• Support recruitment and retention of staff and supervise department operations.
