Job summary

Genesis is seeking a Market Nurse Education Specialist in Pennsylvania to lead and deliver standardized clinical education across Skilled Nursing Facilities. You will ensure staff competency through orientation, annual competencies, and targeted training, while aligning with regulatory standards.

You will coordinate curricula, mentor department educators, and travel regularly to facilities to support education, compliance, and continuous improvement in patient care quality.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an accredited School of Nursing with a current RN license.
• MSN required.
• Certification in a specialty area is strongly preferred.
• Minimum of five (3) years full-time or equivalent clinical experience in education required. Two years of clinical experience in Long Term Care / Post-Acute Care

Responsibilities

• Lead Educational Strategy: develop and implement standardized clinical education strategies leveraging nursing theory, evidence, and regulatory requirements.
• Program Delivery: coordinate and deliver comprehensive clinical education programs (new employee orientation, annual competencies, targeted skills training).
• Needs Assessment: conduct system/site needs assessments to identify gaps and develop curricula.
• Competency & Compliance: monitor staff competency and ensure compliance with standards and regulations.
• Quality Improvement & Support: analyze outcomes and support facilities in survey readiness and corrective action planning.
• Team Leadership & Coaching: mentor Nurse Practice Educator(s) to build a high-performing education team.
• Policy Implementation: support consistent implementation of corporate clinical policies and quality initiatives.
• Collaborative Leadership: work with Clinical leaders to ensure consistency in operations and care delivery.
• Travel: routinely travel across facilities to provide on-site education and oversight.
• Stay Current: maintain knowledge of regulatory requirements and best practices in post-acute and long-term care nursing.
