Genesiscareers in the United States seeks a Market Nurse Education Specialist to lead clinical education across our Skilled Nursing Facilities in the assigned market. You will develop standardized education strategies, ensure competency, and support regulatory compliance to improve patient and resident outcomes.

Travel is required to provide on-site training, orientation, and ongoing staff development, shaping a culture of learning and professional growth within the organization.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an accredited School of Nursing with a current RN license
• MSN degree is required
• Certification in a specialty area strongly preferred
• Minimum of five (3) years full-time or equivalent clinical education experience, with two years in Long Term Care or Post-Acute care

Responsibilities

• Lead development and implementation of standardized clinical education strategies
• Coordinate and deliver education programs (orientation, annual competencies, targeted skills like wound care, infection control, IV therapy, cardiac monitoring)
• Perform needs assessments to identify educational gaps and develop curricula
• Monitor staff competency and ensure compliance with clinical standards and regulations
• Support quality improvement, survey readiness, and corrective action planning
• Provide coaching and mentorship to Nurse Practice Educators
• Implement and reinforce corporate clinical policies and quality initiatives
• Collaborate with Market Clinical Advisor, Directors of Nursing, and interdisciplinary teams
• Travel across assigned facilities to provide on-site education and oversight
• Stay current with regulatory requirements and best practices in post-acute and long-term care nursing
