Qualifications

• Requires a minimum of 5 years of pharmaceutical, biotech or healthcare sales experience.
• Requires a minimum of 3 years of rare disease, orphan drug or highly specialized sales experience.
• Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and managing a territory.
• Experience selling in specialized clinics, hospitals, and academic centers.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.
• Willingness to travel up to 75%.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and a personal automobile with insurance.
• Experience in start-up environments and new product launches preferred.

Responsibilities

• Achieve assigned sales targets in the metabolism business unit.
• Implement marketing strategies to meet sales and patient objectives for neurology and/or Fabry disease products.
• Collaborate within a matrix environment with Patient Services, Marketing, and Medical Affairs.
• Develop partnerships with targeted physicians and healthcare staff to meet needs of patients.
• Identify key treatment centers and collaborate with stakeholders to optimize patient care.
• Establish and maintain relationships with patient and disease-focused advocacy groups.
• Address and resolve product access and reimbursement issues.
