CDS Logistics seeks a dynamic Regional Logistics Network Manager to lead a growing field network. You will oversee the performance of 15–20 Certified Delivery Partners, manage Territory Network Managers, and drive service, safety, and customer satisfaction across the region.

You will work in the field and from home, building strong relationships with partners and customers, using data to guide improvements and ensure adherence to CDS standards.

Responsibilities

  • Own the operational performance of 15–20 Certified Delivery Partners across the region.
  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of Territory Network Managers to drive performance.
  • Build strong relationships with CDP owners and leaders to influence outcomes.
  • Monitor and act on CDP performance using KPIs, scorecards, and customer feedback.
  • Drive continuous improvement using Lean tools (Gemba, 5 Whys, Ishikawa, 6S/8 Wastes).
  • Foster a safety-first culture and ensure CDS safety expectations are met.
  • Manage regional financial performance using P&L and productivity data.
  • Maintain relationships with key customer contacts for issue resolution.
  • Ensure operational readiness and compliance with SOPs and policies.
  • Establish regular reviews, stand-ups, audits, and Leader Standard Work.
  • Provide leadership with visibility into regional performance.
  • Travel across the region to engage with teams, CDPs, and customers.

About the Job

CDS Logistics is seeking a dynamic operations leader to manage a growing region of our nationwide Certified Delivery Partner network. The Regional Logistics Network Manager leads a team of Territory Network Managers and is accountable for the operational performance of approximately 15–20 Certified Delivery Partners. This leader will drive service, safety, customer satisfaction, cost performance, and continuous improvement across the region while developing a high-performing field team and strong relationships with our customers and delivery partners.

In this role you will work in the field as well as from home, managing your team of Territory Network Managers in the oversight of daily operations of our business through our agent network. You can anticipate this role to focus on driving Certified Delivery Partner performance to meet operational standards through strong results‑based communication with CDPs and employees, employee development, proactive performance monitoring and customer accounts within your region. A successful applicant will be able to:

  • Work with and lead a team towards collaborative operational goals

Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Own the operational performance of approximately 15–20 Certified Delivery Partners (CDPs) across the region, with accountability for service, safety, customer satisfaction, and adherence to CDS and customer standards.
  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of Territory Network Managers, enabling them to independently drive performance, continuous improvement, and adherence to CDS and customer SOPs across their assigned CDPs.
  • Build strong relationships with CDP owners and leaders, influencing performance and driving change.
  • Monitor, communicate, and act on Certified Delivery Partner performance, using operational KPIs, driver and customer scorecards, claims, and customer feedback to identify trends and drive timely corrective action.
  • Drive continuous improvement using CDS’ Lean operating principles and tools, including Gemba walks, 5 Whys, Fishbone (Ishikawa) analysis, and 6S/8 Wastes audits, to address root causes and deliver sustainable performance gains.
  • Drive a safety-first culture across the region, ensuring CDPs meet CDS safety expectations and proactively identifying and addressing safety risks and performance trends.
  • Understand and manage the financial performance of the regional network, using P&L, partner pay, productivity, and other operating data.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customer contacts, ensuring effective communication and rapid resolution of service issues.
  • Ensure operational readiness and compliance across the region, including adherence to customer SOPs, CDS policies, training and certification requirements, and warehouse and delivery standards.
  • Establish a disciplined operating rhythm through regular performance reviews, team stand‑ups, developmental audits, Leader Standard Work, and quarterly CDP business reviews.
  • Provide CDS leadership with clear visibility into regional performance
  • Travel regularly throughout the region to engage with Territory Network Managers, CDPs, customers, and field operations.

Qualifications

Preferred Qualifications
  • 5+ years of progressive experience in logistics, transportation, distribution, warehousing, or related operations, preferably in final mile logistics
  • Experience managing third-party logistics providers or independent business partners.
  • 5+ years of progressive experience leading teams or multi-location operations.
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in related field
  • Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies.
Work Environment
  • Remote home office, corporate office, warehouse facilities, loading docks, and other field-based travel locations.
Physical Demands

This role requires regular travel and visits to warehouse, loading dock, and delivery environments. The employee must be able to stand and walk for extended periods and occasionally lift or move up to 25 pounds.
