Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Biomedical Electronics/Healthcare Technology Management, Electronics, Mechatronics, Engineering, or related technical field with relevant experience.
• Associate’s degree with 5 years of related experience or military training with 5+ years of related experience; imaging/x-ray system experience preferred.
• Preferred certifications and knowledge of safety practices in radiation, energy hazards, and QA tools.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and support MRI systems based out of Eau Claire, WI, and provide regional support to other Mayo sites in WI as needed.
• Perform installation, calibration, repair, QA, and testing of imaging equipment in Radiology, Surgery, and Cardiology.
• Demonstrate strong technical skills, prioritize service calls, and adhere to Mayo policies on radiation safety and contingency planning.
• Engage in ongoing knowledge improvement and travel to Mayo Clinic sites as required.
