Job summary

WI-SSM Health St. Mary's Hospital - Madison is seeking an experienced MRI/Radiology professional to lead the imaging department.

You will oversee daily operations of the Magnetic Resonance unit, ensuring high-quality imaging, patient care, and workflow efficiency. The role emphasizes staff leadership, training, and adherence to regulatory standards, with shift coverage Mon-Fri 7am-5pm, some weekends, and potential for expanded hours.

Qualifications

• Completion of an MRI or Radiology Technology program.
• Two years' experience.

Responsibilities

• Leads the daily operations of the imaging department.
• Ensures quality in imaging, patient care and workflow; monitors documentation.
• Oversees quality control testing, equipment maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Mentors staff through orientation, training and coaching; contributes to evaluations.
• Positions patients and selects anatomic and technical parameters; ensures regulatory compliance.
• Ensures prompt submission of high-quality images and patient data to PACS.
• Maintains a clean, safe department and related areas.
• Adheres to safety standards and performs other duties as assigned.
