Mayo Clinic in Eau Claire, WI, seeks an Imaging Tech III to maintain and support MRI systems across Northwest Wisconsin, with regional Mayo Clinic site coverage as needed.

The role demands strong technical skills, on-call readiness, and adherence to radiation safety policies while traveling to Mayo Clinic sites for maintenance and training tasks. A relevant degree with years of experience is required, with preferred AAMI certifications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Electronics/HTM or related field with 3+ years of related experience; or an Associate’s degree with 5+ years of related experience.
• Experience maintaining imaging/x-ray systems with exposure to imaging modalities; strong repair background.
• Preferred certifications: AAMI certifications; vendor-specific training; knowledge of radiation safety and QA
• Experience with complex equipment and ability to work in Radiology, Surgery and Cardiology environments

Responsibilities

• Maintain and support MRI systems in Northwest Wisconsin; provide regional support to Mayo Clinic sites in WI.
• Install, calibrate, repair, and QA imaging-related equipment per Mayo standards.
• Handle on-call, overtime, and travel to Mayo Clinic sites; respond to service calls promptly.
• Adhere to radiation safety, stored energy safety, and contingency plans; minimize exposure.
• Pursue ongoing education to master increasingly complex imaging equipment.
