Qualifications

• Active NMLS license in good standing (required)
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience
• 5+ years of mortgage lending experience
• 3+ years of leadership or sales management in mortgage brokerage/bank/retail lending
• Proven track record of increasing loan production and growth
• Strong knowledge of Conventional, FHA, VA, USDA, and Non-QM loan products
• Thorough understanding of federal and state mortgage lending regulations and compliance
• Excellent communication, leadership, coaching, and relationship-management skills

Responsibilities

• Drive regional mortgage loan production growth through strategic sales initiatives and market development.
• Establish and execute production goals aligned with company objective.
• Monitor pipeline performance, funding metrics, and profitability across the region.
• Analyze market trends, competitive activity, and growth opportunities.
• Recruit, onboard, and retain high-performing Mortgage Loan Officers (MLOs).
• Provide ongoing coaching, mentorship, and performance management.
• Conduct regular sales meetings, pipeline reviews, and one-on-one development sessions.
• Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and customer-focused service.
• Expand referral networks with real estate professionals, builders, financial advisors, attorneys, and community partners.
• Develop strategic partnerships that increase market share and loan volume.
• Represent the company at industry events, networking functions, and community outreach activities.
