Job summary

Apple Montessori Schools in Westfield, NJ seeks a Regional Director of Training & Instructional Development to ensure high‑quality Montessori education across the region. You will develop Education Directors and teaching staff through onboarding, coaching, and ongoing professional development.

You will also lead family tours and enrollment efforts to help each school reach its goals. The role combines hands‑on coaching with regional leadership, emphasizing observation, feedback, and scalable

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Early Childhood Education
• Early Childhood Montessori certification required
• At least 10 years in early childhood education
• At least 5 years supervisory experience across multiple sites
• Strong coaching, mentoring, and presentation skills

Responsibilities

• Model and champion Montessori approach across the region
• Lead enrollment efforts with Education Directors and ops leadership
• Personally conduct family tours and guide enrollment
• Train staff to deliver consistent, high‑quality tours
• Serve as primary instructional coach for Education Directors
• Evaluate directors on instructional leadership and growth
• Design onboarding for new teaching staff with a 12‑month plan
• Onboard new Education Directors with Executive Director of Education
• Create training pathways for educators at all levels
• Plan regional professional development days on Montessori pedagogy
• Use data on teaching quality and retention to improve training
• Share insights with leadership on regional strengths and priorities
• Build and manage a regional digital library of training materials
