Job summary

Apple Montessori Schools in Middlesex County, NJ seeks a Regional Director of Schools to lead and grow multiple Montessori campuses. You will drive instructional quality, compliance, and enrollment while managing regional operations.

As a regional leader, you will recruit and mentor staff, oversee budgets, and ensure licensing standards are met across the region. This role requires travel and a commitment to the mission of Apple Montessori.

Qualifications

• Bachelor/Master in Early Childhood Education or related field.
• NAMC Certification within 1 year of hire.
• Experience as a multi-unit operator in early childhood education.
• Experience with DCF and DOE licensing/compliance.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Leadership experience; regional director experience preferred.
• Business/management experience; multi-site preferred.
• Montessori experience preferred; coach/mentor capability.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Willingness to travel.
• Proficient with Office and web-based tools.
• Ability to promote the school and increase enrollment.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, train, and mentor staff across the region.
• Plan, coordinate, and facilitate in-service training; evaluate staff performance.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations and licensing.
• Manage annual budgets for each school in the region.
• Establish routines and positive behavior guidance across all schools.
• Maintain documentation for student interventions and internal processes.
• Oversee facility operations; ensure safety and standards.
• Protect confidential information per policy.
• Support special projects as directed by VP of Operations.
