Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in geology, mining, or related engineering or equivalent proven work experience in the field.
• 3–5 years of progressive technical responsibility in a surface mining environment; leadership experience is a plus.
• Strong CAD and GPS experience; proficient with MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).

Responsibilities

• Lead Safety, participate in safety programs and implement plans across sites and regions.
• Lead regional mine planning, ensuring standards and programs are applied consistently.
• Lead quarry/mine mining team in development and revision of mine plans and schedules.
• Coordinate site visits/audits and provide on-site technical support.
• Develop and evaluate design documents, cost models, and CAPEX through project life cycles.
• Vetting and selection of contractors; support multiple project teams.
