Job summary

Amrize is seeking a Mine Planning Manager to lead mine planning, evaluation of geologic data, and the development of long-term strategies across Texas, Oklahoma, Arizona, and surrounding regions. The role focuses on 3D geological modeling, drilling programs, and safety enhancements within a growing North American portfolio.

The ideal candidate will bring 5–10 years of relevant experience, a degree in Mine Engineering or Geology, and proficiency with Carlson or Maptek Vulcan.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mine Engineering, Geologic Engineering, Geology, or related field.
• MSHA training is a plus; S-K 1300 designation desired.

Responsibilities

• Construct and maintain 3D geologic models for sand & gravel sites and quarries.
• Perform short-, mid-, and long-term mine planning, including life-of-mine plans.
• Assist with greenfield site development and new site exploration.
• Design and manage drill programs.
• Enhance quarry safety through site design and geotechnical considerations.
• Coordinate mine plan reviews with stakeholders.
