Job summary

Amrize in Plano, TX is seeking a Mine Planning Manager to lead 3D geologic modeling, long-term mine plans, and geological due diligence for regional aggregates operations. You will design drill programs, support permitting and safety, and work with land and operations teams to optimize reserve replacement and site planning.

Bachelor's in a related field and 5–10 years of experience are required; MSHA training is a plus; Carlson/Maptek Vulcan experience preferred; strong communication and project

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mine Engineering, Geologic Engineering, Geology, or related field.
• 5-10 years of relevant work experience.
• Up-to-date MSHA training is a plus; S-K 1300 Qualified Person Designation is desired.

Responsibilities

• Mine planning, including life-of-mine plans and stripping programs.
• Design and manage drill programs; assess greenfield and M&A geologic due diligence.
• Generate plans and illustrations for staff communication; cost analyses for projects.
• Support mining permits and manage projects within budget and schedule.
• Coordinate with operations, environmental, and land departments; ensure safety compliance.
