Job summary

CMC Partners in Texas is seeking an experienced Mine Engineer to lead capital design and end-to-end delivery across processing, plant, infrastructure, and site development. The role combines technical design with project delivery across a busy region.

The position requires overseeing feasibility through commissioning, coordinating contractors and internal teams, and delivering safe, cost-effective solutions with a strong emphasis on safety and reliability.

Qualifications

• Five or more years’ relevant engineering or project experience in mining, quarrying, processing, or heavy industry.
• Proven design and project-delivery experience through construction and commissioning.
• Knowledge of processing equipment, material handling, plant infrastructure, budgets, and schedules.
• Engineering degree preferred, or equivalent substantial practical experience.
• Strong communication, collaboration, problem-solving, commercial awareness, and adaptability.

Responsibilities

• Lead engineering and capital design projects for 4 Plants from feasibility through commissioning and handover.
• Develop safe, practical, and cost-effective scopes, budgets, schedules, and specifications.
• Select, assess, and optimise processing equipment, infrastructure, and existing assets.
• Coordinate contractors, suppliers, consultants, and internal stakeholders.
• Oversee delivery, resolve technical issues, and improve cost, safety, reliability, and performance.
