Job summary
Titan America in Medley, FL is seeking a skilled Mining Engineer to support mine planning, resource development, and capital projects across cement and aggregate businesses. The role provides technical expertise in 3D mine plans, reserve estimates, and regulatory compliance.
You will collaborate with operations, engineering, environmental and business teams to drive safe, efficient, and sustainable mining operations, develop long-range plans, and support decarbonization initiatives.
Qualifications
- B.S. Degree in Mining Engineering or related engineering required.
- EIT certification preferred; PE license is a plus.
- 5+ years experience in mining/industrial minerals.
- Experience with mine planning and geological modeling software.
- Familiarity with GPS surveying and GIS.
- Understanding of mining regulations and permitting.
Responsibilities
- Support feasibility studies and evaluations for new mining sites.
- Manage capital projects from concept to implementation.
- Provide input for budgets, schedules, and reserve estimates.
- Develop mid- and long-range mine plans.
- Coordinate drilling programs and geological data analysis.
- Publish KPI reports for operations.
- Support decarbonization and sustainability initiatives.
- Oversee reclamation planning and environmental stewardship.
