Job summary

Wagman, Inc. in Richmond, Virginia is seeking a Drill Operator for its Geotechnical Group. The ideal candidate will operate drill rigs, assist ground crew, and support earthwork projects across the Mid-Atlantic and Southeast.

This full-time hourly position offers pay ranging from $28 to $38 per hour based on experience, requires travel, and includes per diem when traveling. A high school diploma or GED and valid driver's license are required; prior drill rig and supervisory experience are

Qualifications

• Requirements: Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation.
• Experience with temporary shoring, earth retention systems, foundations and ground stabilization.
• Ability to both operate small diameter drill rigs and help ground crew carry work effectively.

Responsibilities

• Operate and assist in maintaining Drill Rigs, installing tie backs, micropiles, soil mats etc.
• Experience preparing Grout for tiebacks, micropiles etc. is a plus
• Perform minor repairs and service to equipment
• Supervision of drill rig helpers to tool or mix grout
• Develop a full understanding of the Wagman safety policies and procedures and promote our safe culture
