Job summary

H.B. Fleming Inc. seeks an experienced Micropile Drill Operator to join our deep foundation and geotechnical construction team. You will safely and efficiently operate micropile drilling rigs on commercial, industrial, and infrastructure projects.

Responsibilities include rig setup, daily maintenance, reading drilling plans, maintaining logs, coordinating with foremen and engineers, and ensuring OSHA compliance. Willingness to travel and extended hours is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years’ experience operating micropile or foundation drilling equipment.
• Strong understanding of geotechnical drilling methods and tooling.
• Familiar with Klemm and TEI excavator mounted drill micropile equipment.
• Ability to work in confined spaces and challenging outdoor site conditions.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Mechanical aptitude and ability to perform minor equipment repairs.
• Willingness to travel extensively and work extended hours as required.
• Strong commitment to safety and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Operate micropile drilling rigs and related equipment safely and efficiently.
• Read and interpret drilling plans, logs, and job specifications.
• Maintain accurate drilling logs and production records.
• Coordinate with foremen, engineers, and crew members on-site.
• Assist with mobilization, setup, and demobilization of drilling equipment.
• Troubleshoot, and communicate drilling challenges related to soil, rock, and site conditions.
• Follow all OSHA safety policies and company standards.
