Job summary

DoorDash is seeking a Regional Merchant Lead (Outside Sales Representative) to own the full sales cycle for onboarding restaurant partners. You will prospect, pitch, negotiate, and close deals with local and regional merchants across your assigned market.

You will meet restaurant owners, present DoorDash offerings, and negotiate revenue-share agreements while traveling within the region. This hybrid role supports in-field customer meetings 2-3 days/week with flexibility for remote work.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in a closing sales role, preferably in outside sales or field-forward environment.
• Thrives in fast-paced, transaction sales cycles with quick closes.
• Consistently exceeded KPIs and sales targets through disciplined activity.
• Experience selling multi-product solutions and tailoring pitches to each merchant.
• Approaches challenges with clear discovery, strong communication, and merchant-first thinking.

Responsibilities

• Own the full sales cycle for bringing new restaurant partners onto DoorDash.
• Prospect, pitch, negotiate, and close deals with local and regional merchants.
• Meet restaurant owners in-person, present DoorDash offerings, and negotiate revenue-share agreements.
• Sell multi-product solutions and tailor proposals to each merchant’s needs.
• Travel within the region; up to 50% in-field meetings with flexibility for remote work.
