Job summary

DoorDash, Inc. is seeking a Regional Merchant Lead (Outside Sales Representative) to own the full sales cycle for onboarding new non-restaurant partners in emerging verticals such as grocery, convenience, alcohol, and retail.

This fast-paced field-based role requires 50%+ in-field time, travel within the region, and strong negotiation and relationship-building skills to drive growth for our door-to-door merchant partnerships.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in a closing sales role, preferably outside sales or field-forward environment.
• Ability to thrive in strategic, complex deal cycles with multi-product solutions.
• Proven track record of exceeding KPIs through disciplined activity and execution.
• Strong discovery, communication, and merchant-first thinking.
• Willingness to travel 50%+ and adapt to fast-changing environments.

Responsibilities

• Own the full sales cycle for onboarding new non-restaurant partners.
• Prospect, pitch, negotiate, and close deals in emerging categories (grocery, convenience, alcohol, retail).
• Negotiate revenue share terms and sell multi-product solutions.
• Maintain an organized sales process with a focus on rapid deal closure.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to maximize account value.
• Travel within the region and spend 50%+ of time in field.
