Job summary

DoorDash seeks a Regional Merchant Lead (Outside Sales Representative) to own the full sales cycle for bringing new restaurant partners onto DoorDash in your assigned market. You will prospect, pitch, negotiate, and close deals with local and regional merchants, building strong relationships and introducing them to DoorDash's suite of offerings.

This field sales role requires 50%+ in-field time, traveling to meet restaurant owners, with some remote or office work flexibility.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in a closing sales role.
• Experience in outside/field sales.
• Able to travel 50%+ within the region.
• Proven track record of meeting/exceeding sales KPIs.
• Experience selling multi-product solutions and tailoring pitches.

Responsibilities

• Own the full sales cycle for bringing new restaurant partners onto DoorDash.
• Prospect, pitch, negotiate, and close deals with local and regional merchants.
• Meet restaurant owners in person, build strong local relationships and explain DoorDash offerings.
• Travel within the region up to 50% and collaborate with sales leadership and operations.
