Job summary

NMDP is seeking a dedicated Member Recruitment Coordinator to engage ethnically diverse communities, build partnerships, and drive registry enrollment within the North Los Angeles County region. You will organize events, educate potential donors, and work with marketing and account teams to maximize impact.

Travel up to 50–75% within the region is required, with strong emphasis on outreach at colleges, community groups, and public institutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent combination of formal education and experience.
• Two years of experience in sales, business or community development, client account management, event planning and implementation where defined goals are required.
• Experience as a marrow or PBSC donor or direct connection to the mission is a plus.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation with capacity to hold event materials.

Responsibilities

• Establishes and maintains relationships within ethnically diverse communities to plan recruitment efforts.
• Plan, organize, and deliver mission-focused events (live and digital) to meet enrollment targets.
• Educate prospective volunteer donors about NMDP’s mission and donation process and ensure informed commitment.
• Collaborate with account managers and marketing to develop engagement strategies and achieve diverse goals.
