Job summary

NMDP is seeking a University Engagement & Events Coordinator based in Fargo, ND. The role coordinates campus and community events, educating and recruiting registrants to support the NMDP mission.

The position travels 50-75% across North Dakota and South Dakota, building relationships with colleges, community groups, corporations, and public safety partners to expand the registry and donor recruitment efforts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• Experience in events, outreach, or community engagement.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Build and sustain relationships within ethnically diverse communities to plan recruitment efforts.
• Plan, organize, and deliver mission-focused events (live and digital) and activate volunteers.
• Collaborate with marketing, donor services, and foundation to maximize reach.
• Educate prospective volunteers and donors about NMDP’s mission and process.
• Travel 50–75% and represent NMDP at events.
