Job summary

NMDP is seeking a dynamic Member Recruitment & Event Coordinator to educate, engage, and recruit volunteers for registry enrollment. This role travels regionally and partners with marketing, donor services, and the NMDP Foundation to execute awareness events and drive participation.

You will build relationships with colleges, community organizations, and corporate partners; plan live and digital events; manage volunteers; and deliver excellent service to communities while advancing the mission.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Two years of sales, business or community development experience.
• Experience in event planning and execution with measurable goals.
• Bi-lingual language skills may be necessary depending on location.

Responsibilities

• Establishes relationships with ethnically diverse communities to plan recruitment efforts.
• Plan and deliver mission-focused events (live and digital).
• Collaborate with account managers and marketing for engagement strategy.
• Recruit and retain volunteers; supervise volunteers.
• Represent NMDP in media events and interviews.
