Job summary

Johnson & Johnson is hiring a Regional Sales Director for Shockwave Medical Inc., overseeing Lexington, KY and Nashville, TN territories. The role is fully remote, with travel up to 50% and no relocation provided.

You will build and lead a regional sales team, work with Marketing and R&D, and drive revenue growth through strategic sales plans and market development. The position emphasizes leadership, market strategy, and cross-functional collaboration to commercialize innovative IVL products

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree or equivalent relevant experience.
• Proven track record of leading sales in the medical device industry.
• 5+ years leading and managing a sales team with quotas.
• Strong sales, recruiting, leadership, organization, planning and prioritization.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to travel up to 50%.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities.
• Team player and able to work independently in changing requirements.
• Ability to develop and critically analyze a sales pipeline and forecast.

Responsibilities

• Build and lead a regional field sales team to maximize revenue.
• Forecast annual, quarterly, and monthly sales revenue.
• Identify, develop, and implement sales plans and strategies.
• Develop revenue plans for teams to ensure growth in all products/services.
• Coach and motivate reps to meet and exceed objectives.
• Coach reps to structure deals exceeding revenue expectations.
• Escalation point for issues beyond team authority; resolve conflicts.
• Perform sales activities in assigned geographic area to achieve revenue objectives.
• Develop and test new sales strategies and tactics.
• Share product and industry knowledge with the team.
• Work closely with Marketing on go-to-market strategies and execute.
• Participate in sales meetings and quarterly business reviews.
• Other duties as assigned.
