Merck & Co. is seeking a Regional Medical Scientific Director to oversee scientific exchange, research collaboration, and congress support within the US territory. This role involves high-level discussions with scientific leaders, site and investigator collaboration, and strategic alignment with GMSA policies.

The position requires a PhD/MD/DO/DNP/PharmD, strong stakeholder management, and the ability to travel up to 50% across FL, GA, AL, AR, LA, and MS. Remote work arrangements are available.

Qualifications

• PhD, PharmD, DNP, DO, or MD required.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant therapeutic area experience beyond the degree program.
• Ability to discuss at doctoral level with external stakeholders.
• Strong focus on scientific education and dialogue.

Responsabilités

• Develops professional relationships with national and regional SLs for access to approved medical information.
• Conducts peer-to-peer scientific discussions and maintains medical contact within the company.
• Addresses scientific questions and directs inquiries to appropriate resources.
• Keeps current knowledge of AOI and scientific environment for the regional area.
