Merck is seeking a Regional Medical Scientific Director to engage with national and regional scientific leaders, delivering balanced scientific information across therapeutic areas and trials. This role emphasizes leadership in scientific exchange, research collaboration, and congress support while ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.

Qualificações

PhD, PharmD, DNP, DO, or MD required.
Minimum 3 years relevant therapeutic experience beyond terminal degree.
Ability to conduct doctoral-level discussions with external stakeholders.
Strong scientific education and dialogue focus.
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
Thorough knowledge of FDA, HIPAA, and related guidelines.

Responsabilidades

Develop professional relationships with national/regional SLs for access to approved medical information.
Conduct peer-to-peer scientific discussions and maintain company contact.
Address scientific questions and escalate issues outside scope to appropriate resources.
Lead protocol discussions with GCTO and participate in investigator-initiated studies.
Support scientific congresses and exchange data at meetings.
Gather feedback to inform medical strategy and business needs.
